Online degree programs:

Admission Requirements:
Admission requirements are the same for all students, whether they choose to take their classes online or on campus. Minimum admission requirements for MBA: An undergraduate degree with official copies of the transcripts, an acceptable GMAT score (average is 560), letters of recommendation, personal essay, and resume. The total academic record is considered including GPA, course of study and quality of the program, The GMAT is required for all applicants who have not completed a post-baccalaureate degree.

Tuition Costs:
In-state tuition: $262 per credit hour; plus course fee of $100/course
Out-of-state tuition: $425 per credit hour; plus course fee of $100/course

Learning Environment for students:
The Business School at the University of Colorado at Denver specializes in providing the working professional the knowledge they need to accomplish their career goals. Students can take one course or complete their entire MBA online. Campus based students can choose from over 80 electives. Online students are allowed to transfer up to four course from other AACSB accredited Business Schools - allowing them the same ability to customize their MBA. Online course are lively, interactive experiences that can be completed without attending the campus, as even library and advising resources are available online. Courses are taught by academically qualified faculty, most with PhD's, who have authored the courses they teach and who also teach their courses in the on-campus program. Classes meet the full semester with students moving together through each course. Most interaction is asynchronous. Students should expect to log on at least twice each week to participate in discussions. Many classes include streaming audio; some include video clips; some require group work; all include extensive links to web-based learning aids. Live technical help is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Relevant Information on Faculty:
All online courses are taught by the faculty authors of the course. All faculty who teach in the online programs also teach in the programs offered on campus. Nearly all online courses are taught by PhD qualified faculty. Many online faculty have received campus awards for outstanding teaching.

Accomplishments/Recognition:
Begun in Fall 2000, after winning a grant competition sponsored by eCollege.com, over 150 students now complete all or part of their MBA online.
